Open Heart Yoga (OHY) is proud to announce a new initiative made possible by a grant from the State of New Jersey. In collaboration with the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County, we are launching Wellness Within—a structured, six-week hybrid program blending restorative, trauma-sensitive yoga with guided group therapy led by licensed clinical therapists.
Centered on the theme of self-compassion, Wellness Within offers a safe, nurturing environment where participants can:
Develop effective coping strategies for stress, anxiety, and trauma
Experience the healing benefits of gentle, grounding yoga
Engage in non-judgmental group discussions to process emotions
Strengthen mind-body awareness for long-term emotional resilience
