Dr. Sima Yakoby Epstein, was the first generation born and raised in Forest Hills, New York. After receiving extensive dental work as a young girl due to a catastrophic automobile accident, she became fascinated with and grew to appreciate the vital role that an Orthodontist plays in creating a person’s smile, one they can celebrate with confidence. A physical change could provide mental and emotional benefits.

During Sima’s post graduate education, she was honored with a Deans Academic Merit Scholarship from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. There she received her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. Her journey continued, and after completing a General Practice Residency at New York Hospital, training and teaching at NYU Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry, working as a cosmetic and restorative dentist in NYC, she completed her Post-Doctoral Orthodontics Certification at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Sima was president of her class and earned more than 10 years of professional experience.

Sima has a blend of advanced specialized training, innate talent and highly developed skills that will make a positive impact. She provides quality care and compassion that her patients deserve. These qualities and her devotion to health and well being, translate optimally to serve as Open Heart Yoga’s Vice President.  

“When I’m not dancing or playing tennis, my husband Dr. Josh Epstein and I enjoy our two children Sloane and Liam as locals to Rumson, NJ.”
