Linda Vera
Yoga instructor
After her very first Yoga practice in 2005, Linda knew this was going to be her life changing moment. The peace clarity and balance she found on the yoga mat were unlike anything she had ever experienced. Over the years Linda’s continued practice and quest to continue that feeling of “Balance of Mind, Body and Soul” led her to pursue her 200 hour training as a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2016. She completed her certification at Tula Yoga in Aberdeen NJ and simultaneously became certified in Fly & Release Arial Yoga under the direction of Jodi Korbin. She also trained in Pilates Mat in the fall of 2016. In the winter of 2016, she pursued additional studies in Aroma Yoga with Tracy Griffiths who is a renowned expert using essential oils during a yoga practice and aromatherapy. In February of 2017 Linda also continued her studies in Yin Yoga at Inlet Yoga in Manasquan, NJ. In the summer of 2017 she completed her Reiki Master Certification, in addition to completing additional CE hours in Bikram Yoga (HOT 26) with Ann Yocum from Colts Neck Hot Yoga. In the Winter of 2018, Linda finally completed her 500 hours as a Certified Yoga Teacher at the Colts Neck Yoga Studio in NJ as well as completing her teacher training with Jimmy Barkan in Costa Rica in the Spring of 2018 and Winter of 2019. She is certified to teach the Barkan Method Hot Vinyasa.
Linda’s passion to help others led her to volunteer as a Yoga Instructor for KULA for KARMA in the New York metropolitan area. She also worked with the SuNup Program of Newark working with elementary school children during the summer of 2016 and now currently volunteering her time at the Integrity House in Newark, which is a substance abuse treatment center for women.
It was during Linda’s volunteer work that she decided to include essential oils in her practice because of the oils healing properties. She now uses essential oils not only in her Yoga Practice but also in her Reiki Practice and Raindrop Therapy Practice. Through CARE (Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education) Linda completed her training in Raindrop Therapy, Applied Vitaflex and Chemistry studies in November of 2017.
Linda’s passion for her practice has led to help transform behavior, reduce or eliminate pain, overcome addictions, correct emotional imbalances, and so much more. As Linda guides students through a sequence, they may hear a mixture of Sanskrit, English and Spanish cues.
