Amanda Carrione
Yoga Instructor
Amanda is a certified 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Her journey began in 2013 when, after years as a gymnast and track athlete she sought a physical outlet that was more kind to her body. Amanda immediately fell in love with the challenging, yet forgiving nature of yoga, specifically the cornerstone principle of asana - to honor the body. Through consistent visits to her mat, Amanda deepened her connection to her practice, and it became clear to her just how much more yoga had to offer. Living her yoga on and off the mat, Amanda gained new perspective in her life and realized that in order to continue on her path, she would need to share the joy and benefits of yoga with others. She was fortunate enough to complete her RYT-200 certification in 2017 at the PowerFlow School of Yoga under the amazing instruction of Stacey Bell and Carrie Parker-Gasteleu, as well as assistant and mentor, Christine Joseph. Expanding her connection to both her practice and her students, Amanda completed Yin yoga training with PowerFlow in 2019 as well.
Amanda’s approach to each class ensures that her yogis increase their connection to their practice and to the world around them, ready to face life with a balanced perspective of strength, softness, confidence, forgiveness and inner calm.
