OUTDOOR CLASSES

Our Nature Series embraces a practice filled with fresh air, breath awareness, moving fluidly, and strengthening ourselves inside and out. Connect to your roots while feeling the sunshine and inhaling the beauty nature provides. Join us for Yard Yoga pictured above, or Beach Yoga in Sea Bright, Yoga at The Grove in Shrewsbury or at Coffee Corral in Red Bank. Contact us or sign up on Mindbody for schedules and locations.

VIRTUAL CLASSES

We are now using the MINDBODY platform for our virtual offerings. What this means:

You could still practice from home with many virtual offerings from our Open Heart Yoga teachers. Please sign up on Mindbody at least 30 minutes prior to class so the Mindbody link will be sent to your email. Click on the link provided and join class! It may take several practices to feel natural but there are so many reasons why this may fit your needs.

Pets and Babies may join, save on transportation and travel time making that 6:30 am class easier to get to. There's a variety of pros for practicing online but it is so nice to BALANCE your practice- maybe one virtual, one in studio and one outdoor class per week!

IN-STUDIO CLASSES

DURING OUR STAGE 1 REOPENING Open Heart Yoga is preparing to keep you safe as we transition back into our studio hopefully soon:

We are implementing new studio policies and you will notice some changes due to social distancing restrictions and our new cleaning protocols. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that the studio meets the recommendations from Gov. Phil Murphy and the CDC guidelines. These guidelines may be subject to change. Students will be allowed in Open Heart Yoga’s studio at time TBD. Group studio classes will be held with no more than 9 people per session.  Before entering the studio--and at all times while in the studio except while on your mat (socially distancing while practicing yoga)--members and staff must wear a mask that covers both the nose and mouth. Please do not come to the studio if you feel ill or have been exposed to anyone with the Coronavirus during the 14 days prior to your appointment.  Please arrive on time for your session and we ask that you not arrive more than 10 minutes before your class begins. Arrive preferably dressed for your class with your own mat and props. Your yoga mat will be your home base throughout class. We ask that you roll up your mat, gather your belongings as soon as the session ends and depart so we may thoroughly disinfect the space. (We will miss the lingering interaction within the community, but these are the circumstances of the pandemic.)  Social distancing, ensuring enough space between students, is required while practicing yoga. There will be no hands on assists or high fives or hugs (for now). Teachers and Students will have their temperature taken using a noninvasive thermometer. If temperature is 100.4 or higher, entry will not be permitted. If you have had any of these symptoms in the past 24 hours – fever of 100.4 or higher, cough, chills, headache, shortness of breath, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, muscle pain – we ask that you please stay home for the health and safety of our Open Heart Yoga family. Reservations are required through MINDBODY for yoga Classes. Reservations can be made in advance up until 30 minutes before the class. Check Mindbody.com for the class schedule or call 732-859-6749 to schedule a private or semi-private session.

Because you choose to practice with us or give a tax deductible donation to Open Heart Yoga, hundreds of vouchers, totaling thousands of classes, are given to these nonprofits below. Their recipients or supporters have access to yoga in our studio or through outreach programs. Health Care Providers also may receive these free yoga vouchers as a thank you for their efforts.

Every year, we aim to reach and enrich more communities and nonprofits by providing greater access to the empowering gift of yoga.
