Amy Crowe

Yoga instructor

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Amy started her teaching career in Dance Education at the age of 17 at the prestigious Horizons In Dance. After moving to New Jersey in 1996, she continued to teach recreational and competitive dance at a local dance school.

Unfortunately spending so much time at the studio did not allow her to continue to regularly take class and her body begins to feel limited. In 2007 Amy took her first yoga class and it filled the void. It was exactly what she was missing but her practice did not remain consistent.

In 2009 Amy suffered a back injury that completely sidelined her from teaching dance. Chiropractic and physical therapy wasn’t working. With much hope Amy registered for a 10 consecutive day package at the Hot Yoga Studio and religiously went everyday. By the fifth day, the pain was gone.

In 2014 Amy received her RYT 200 Hr. Yoga Certification through Colts Neck Hot Yoga. Amy’s love for teaching both dance and yoga continues to grow. The greatest gift she can pass on to every student is to learn to slow down, learn to breathe, play.  Everything else is just stuff.
